It's basically a nVidia GeForce 9400M welded onto an Atom processor. Amazingly good GPU for a netbook. 1GB of DDR3 RAM, but I am going to assume that it is upgradeable to at least 2GBs, which is more than enough for whatever you're going to do on a netbook anyways.
that sounds horrible. Its like having 20/20 vision on a wet noodle.

HERE THE THING
YOU DON'T FUCKING GAME ON A LAPTOP

IF YOU WANT TO GAEM JUST BUY A DESKTOP
LAPTOP ARE WERE NOT MADE FOR GAMING
enjoy your overheat if you even try (asus g1 series with 8600gt that goes 80C idle, and shit battery life )

/scoff

I got two laptops, one that is for gaming (17", 1.75kUSD, 3GHz DC CPU, 8800mGTX) and a netbook a year later.

I don't have issues with overheating at all. I've played Crysis on here (XP, High Quality, later Med-High Due to the graphical ridiculousness of the later levels) with everything running between 60-70C on the stock fans. And I don't need a separate mouse to play, I can use the touch pad just fine, even for counterstrike. Yes the battery is shit, around an hour and a half while taking notes in class on Open Office, but I knew that going in (It's around 45minutes playing a game, but I never play a game unless I am plugged into the power adapter, plus that makes me really only able to take notes while I am in class which is a god thing because I would be playing games the entire time instead).

The reason that I got it was because I was moving halfway across the country to go to college and I wanted a computer that I could take with me whether I was home or at college. And I really do like this laptop, it is wonderful to be able to lay on a couch stretched out playing EvE or something like Prototype. The only reason that I got the netbook was because this laptop is rather heavy (around 14lbs IIRC) and I got tired of lugging it around, so I asked my parents for a netbook as my birthday present, thus I got a netbook which I now use to take notes on in class. Though my 17" one is still the one that I do all of my homework on.

So there are reasons to get a "gaming" laptop. Esp. if you want to be able to play games socially with other people. I would love to see you take your desktop out of a dorm room and into the common room so that you can have a StarCraft lan party with half of the floor.

Oh, by the way Shota:

Even if the touch pad is good, you need a mouse for alot of games. Most times, the scroll wheel cycles something.

I've seen monitors attached to the sides of computer cases for this purpose. Attach a handle or something to the top, along with pro cable management, and all you need is the 8P8C and power cord.

EDIT: Here's an example.

Ive seen a computer INSIDE A MONITOR. And its very thin. But it had an intel chipset, and you cant put a video card in that thing.

Those are known as all-in-ones. The problem with them is, well, laptop parts, which kinda defeats the purpose of a desktop computer.

Still heavier than a laptop however. >.>"

Though that is pretty cool. I always love seeing computer case mods (which I guess that would be classified as).

what?
20/20 vision = good gfx card, wet noodle = atom processor.

My netbook for school has an atom, and I gotta say, it be a waste for it to have anything but a gma 950 video chipset.

The pcs I do play games on have a P43.2/athlon 1.66.
The p4 is way stronger than the athlon, but the video card is an older 7200LE. So for games more hungry for video I use the athlon pc. For cpu hungry games I use the p4.

Don't get a laptop for gaming. The only reason I try to game on a lolnetbook, is because it makes people rage when I tell them I am. :3

Obviously.

But Misery wanted a laptop for light gaming, so this is my solution to his problem.

nVidia's iON netbooks are a huge leap forward for portable gaming. Even with the Atom processor, it performs much better than competing netbooks and laptops at it's price point for 1080p movies, and gaming.

Well the atom processor, although shunned, is actually not bad. It has a total performance of 2.39, which isnt half bad. If my netbook actually had a geforce card, I probably could get TF2 to play on it, on low settings, but none the less play.
